Acquisition: Bowman Oil Company

Heritage Petroleum, LLC (HP) today announced it has acquired substantially all the business assets of Bowman Oil Company (BOC) which is based in Marion, Illinois. The acquisition will solidify its presence and establish an additional location for Heritage Petroleum in southern Illinois, will service customers in a broad area of southern Illinois, and will add additional volume.

“The acquisition of these assets is consistent with our strategy of entering new marketplaces within a 250 mile radius of Heritage’s headquarters through the acquisition of existing operations,”

“Also, this was a strategic location that we had targeted which allows HP to provide additional products and services to existing BOC customers and to service existing HP customers that already have operations in this area.” – Aaron Gabe, VP of Heritage Petroleum.

Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
