Heritage Petroleum, LLC (HP) today announced it has acquired substantially all the business assets of Edwards-Etherton Oil Co., Inc. (EE) which is based in Marion, Illinois. The acquisition solidifies HP’s presence in southern Illinois and is a continuation of HP’s strategy of establishing a network of operational hubs to allow HP to better service customers in the broad area of southern Illinois, western Kentucky and eastern Missouri.
Andrew Edwards and tank wagon driver, John Lerch, will both remain with the Heritage team to ensure a smooth transition for the existing customers and to continue to grow market share through their long-standing business relationships in the area. Additionally, current customers of EE will now have access to the buying power of HP and the sophisticated fuel and price management services offered by HP.
