Acquisition: Wax Oil Company

Heritage Petroleum, LLC (HP) today announced it has acquired Wax Oil Company. (WAX) which is based in Allerton, IL. The acquisition solidifies HP’s presence in Central IL and Central IN and is a continuation of HP’s strategy of establishing a network of operational hubs to allow HP to better service customers in a 300 mile radius of Evansville.

David and Janet Wax will remain with the Heritage team to ensure a smooth transition for the existing customers and to continue to grow market share through their long-standing business relationships in the area. Additionally, current customers of WAX will now have access to the buying power of HP, Pacific Pride Commercial Fueling, and the sophisticated fuel and price management services offered by HP.

Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
